Mmmm-hmmm. Seeing everyone was taking pics, I went in for the closeup:
It is an amazing theater, absoultely gorgeous in design, and it felt like you were right next to the stage, we had great seats for The Glass Managerie, and Randy Harrison, from Queer as Folk, was adorable in his role as the son. He looked so shiny and perfect I wanted to take a bite. Although, I must say, Harriet Harris, who's played in Desperate Housewives and Fraiser stole the show. She was great. This was Wednesday night in Downtown Minneapolis, hadn't really started yet - this is a view from in front of Orchestra Hall.
It starts! This is how it was coming down in front of the Orpheum theater after I left the Saloon. It was a very thick, slushy snow.
Some cool bushes near my house were coated. So, the next morning I get up and this is what I see:
The poor trees were bending to the ground from the weight of the show. This was pre-shoveling. And, here's post-shoveling:
The ex flies in tonight at 7, can't wait to show him around the city. I'm sure I'll be well cocktailed for the next few days, so you all have a good weekend!
